A Take Home Language Activity About Community Helpers

My students are learning about community helpers and occupations in their Pre K and Kindergarten classrooms. I am always looking for better ways to correlate their speech and language IEPs with their curriculum objectives. These interactive books were made with therapy in mind as well as homework.

Use this FREE handout and the interactive book purchased through this link to send home with your students. Parents will appreciate the guidance and students will LOVE showing off what they have learned at school.

Laminate the parent instructions page as well as the interactive book for increased durability on trips home in little backpacks. Place it all in a gallon zip lock bag with a note to return to school such as (free download) THIS ONE.

Parent training is necessary for parent involvement. I hope you are able to use this free download as a tool to provide your students' parents with the skills needed to improve their child's language skills through activities at home and in their community.
